Idk why, just assumed she was a few years older than them, maybe because she seemed a bit more skilled, more on the level of Team CFVY, or above.

2024-12-25 08:28:44 +0000 UTCPardon the wall of text but there are a couple reasons Yang got beaten here, and neither are about Neo being OP. Between the team arriving in Mountain Glen and the end of the last episode, the team hadn't slept. They spent a whole day fighting Grimm, draining their aura offensively and defensively; and then when they should have been sleeping, they were awake having existential crises. Yang was second watch, so she would have gotten less sleep than any of the others. Ruby had a maybe little more sleep than Yang, and she was knocked out by a kick from a henchman. Basically the whole team were all running on fumes the last two episodes. Then Yang fights her way across a train of henchmen to face Neo, when Neo is not only fresh as a daisy, but already a terrible matchup for her. Neo is a technical and evasive fighter, not a strong or straightforward one, and that is the kind of opponent where Yang struggles. When she can't land a hit, she loses her cool, and then loses the fight. Her going into the fight tired would have been the deciding factor either way, but it would have been a bad matchup even on the best of days simply because of how Neo fights. There is no shame in losing to a bad matchup. Paper beating rock doesn't make paper overpowered. Yang losing this fight sets up important character growth for her, as she needs to learn from this loss. In this fight Yang was throwing punches with everything she had and Neo was dodging deflecting or blocking every one; making Yang angry, making Yang tired, making Yang sloppy. Yang actually got a hold of Neo at one point, and instead of using that grip to finally bring her in close and pummel her, Yang tosses Neo away, and simultaneously throws away her one possible path to win. If you look at Neo's face in that moment Yang has ahold of her, she looks scared. I think it's because she realized how the fight could suddenly swing Yang's way. Also, one year older makes a big difference. Team CVFY is only one year ahead of team RWBY, and we see Coco instantly blow away three Nevermores the size of the one it took all of team RWBY together to beat in Volume 1. That's just the power curve the show lives on.

Neopolitan (Or just Neo) is a mute, why/how has never been covered but she's... prominent in the series. Say hi to the official introduction of Team CFVY (Coffee) and their fashionista leader Coco with the chain-gun purse. You did see them briefly right before Team RWBY left for Mountain Glen, but that was mostly Velvet. That end credit scene has been retconned out so while neat, it's not valid anymore. You will find out more about Lady Red though. Volume three now. Hoooo-boy. I /strongly/ recommend watching episodes 7-12 in one set and separate from 1-6. The last half is of the volume is just one a different level.

But the writers made her way more overpowered than necessary. Yang is the most skilled fighter in team RWBY, yet she got beat way too easily. I can't wait to see you start volume 3!! 2024-12-23 22:02:52 +0000 UTCThe reason for that is they originally wanted to continue that storyline, but after Monty passed. They had to make some changes for volume 3, and they didn't have time for that particular part. So they wrote it as a dream that Yang has.

They are introduced to show you just how strong Second year's are compared to First years. CFVY didn't even break a sweat. Zwei is a mystical creature, we do not question the ways of Zwei or his Corginess. But for real tho, every living being has an Aura (except Grimm) Zwei belongs to Ruby and Yang's Dad, they're all warriors so you can imagine the Dad trained Zwei. The mystery woman at the very end? You're either going to love her or hate her there's honestly no in between when it comes to her. I loved listening to your theories, can't wait to see how you'll react when you finally get your answers!

Her normal eye color is the mismatched colors you usually see. It actually caused a lot of people for awhile to think Neo really had silver eyes like Ruby's but no that's not the case.

This is a huge folder that contains all the volumes of RWBY ( intros/outros included) (Thanks RACHEL MAE who posted it too many reactions ago ) It also has all other stuff RWBY related ( all the soundtracs, RWBY chibi, World or remnant etc ) All she has to do is go there, and download what she wants, since she doesn't really want to check RWBY online . I tried to contact her with direct message these past weeks but got no answers at all. I'm not sure she was this. If anyone could maybe have a better solution to reach her, via discord, mail or whatever, that'd be great. I enjoy her videos anyways, but I reallt really think the soundtracks and intros would add sooo much to the experience.

2024-12-23 14:35:43 +0000 UTCThanks to RWBY being made by an inexperienced team feeling things out for the first time, there are a few seeds that get planted that never quite go anywhere and I do think what happened with Zewi is one of them. Ooblek describes dogs as the perfect companion for Huntsmen, in vol1 Pyrrha says that even animals have aura to some extent, and here we see Zwei displaying aura or maybe even a semblance. My theory was that animals can’t harness their aura for the same reason most humans can’t—it’s very difficult and takes a lot of practice and concentration at first, which most animals won’t have the intellect or willpower to do. Dogs however are such smart and dedicated companion animals that they can be trained to activate their aura, much like they can be trained for things like rescue in the real world. Just one of those little things we sort of see but never get the full picture of (once again I must say that RWBY absolutely needs and deserves a reboot)

You're actually not the first person to compare General Ironwood to Jayce from Arcane, as they have quite a few similarities. On the same subject, Vi from the same show is kinda like a more moody Yang when you think about it. Oh, and...please don't say that Adam was like a brother to Blake again...just don't, trust me.
