I think in season three we need to have a scene/2 part scene where loona talks to stolas about her experience with hating to loving blitz(o) and blitz(o) talk to Octavia about his past and how he almost talk about Octavia everyday and has seen stolas fall to pieces just from being away from her

2024-12-23 16:05:24 +0000 UTCI was also questioning why Millie didn't tell Moxxie, but I think it's just that she's not ready. She was terrified when she found out, and immediately called Sallie, and even though Sallie managed to comfort her a bit, she's still scared. If she's pregnant, she most likely won't be able to work, which would also mean less time with the gang. I doubt they'll have financial issues though, don't think Blitz will stop paying her because of it. It kinda throws her life into a little more chaos. It was clearly an accident and she just isn't ready to have a kid. I'm sure she'll tell Moxxie either in the next episode, or the episode after, she just needs some time to process it, I think. Also it was at the Sinsmas party, she might've thought she would wait until after to tell him. Also, as Elijah pointed out, Moxxie would absolutely be excited and positive about it, and maybe Millie just fears that and that it'd be too much to deal with until she's processed it a bit? Idk, just a thought, not as confident about this than the other stuff.

After last episode I had a stong feeling this was where Octavia would end up, and it hurt so much to watch. Especially her song, because my own daughter plays guitar. Just stirred up a lot of fears I wish I didn't have.

2024-12-22 23:20:44 +0000 UTCA clever little nod, is the 'Karen Client' insisting her husband 'probably cheated on her'. As in she doesnt know, shes just assuming. Mightve not even happened. He could've left her for her personality, found out he was gay maybe, or she died and he moved on. Octavia's more interesting because....well gotta cut her some slack, shes a teenager. Not exactly rational. Shes right to feel Stolas doesnt love her. She's absolutely wrong, but circumstances can lead to such a conclusion. But the anger at him not loving Stella, despite seeing her behavior FOR A MONTH, makes it a tiny bit hard to sympathize.

2024-12-22 17:02:21 +0000 UTCHonestly, between how Blitzo was softer with Barb, the way he is around Loona when fully parental, and even something like how he acted towards Fizz (and Oz) when back on good terms, we've gotten the sense of what Blitzo would be like in a more domestic mode, and that he is capable of it. He just needed the right context.

2024-12-22 09:19:39 +0000 UTCI understand Via's perspective; Stolas didn't think of her at all in the Mastermind episode until he was being sentenced, which by then was too late. He chose Blitz over her by not giving her a heads up or thinking ahead to how everything would affect her; he was ready to die for Blitz without sparing a thought for Via. On another note, I don't think Blitz has a bedroom; judging by how often we've seen him sleep on the couch, and now the beanbag with Stolas on the couch, it seems to be a one-bedroom apartment, and he gave Loona the bedroom.

2024-12-22 07:34:51 +0000 UTCThis episode was incredible. It bounced between funny, sad, and heartwarming, and set up some plotlines for season 2 that I'm excited to see. Also Blitz and Stolas dancing at the end was adorable <3 Also fun fact, Andrealphus is one of the canon Goetia demons from the Lesser Key of Solomon text. He's a Marquis there too, like Stolas is actually a Prince. Andy is lucky Stolas doesn't have his powers anymore, because he is definitely more powerful when he does. I do have to say though, I actually rather enjoy Andrealphus as a villain. Stella is just petty and childish, and while Andy has those traits too, he's also genuinely clever and threatening, and also has a really cool design, pun intended. Anyways, my wall of text aside, I hope you, your mom, and Moscoe, and anyone else you have over for the season have a very happy Sinsmas!

Normally in a show, they write in a pregnancy storyline to cover for the actress' own pregnancy - assuming the showrunners aren't assholes who write them out of the show for the season. But this is an animated show so... is the lead animator pregnant? I hope Mosco is in a soundproof room with noise canceling headphones when you record these so she doesn't get spoiled by all your screaming...

I do agree with Blitzø that Octavia will eventually come around, but I think for that to happen she needs Loona and to expose Stella and Andrelaphus some way. Also with Millie being pregnant and being sad about it, is rather strange. I’m not really happy that she didn’t tell Moxie, and that’s giving me a bad gut feeling. But wow! Season 2 was one Helluva (pun intended) season, and I can’t wait for Season 3!

I think that’s what that last look was about, and yeah I think she’s struggling about whether or not to even tell Moxxie because you’re right. I’m pretty sure Moxxie would be over the moon at the prospect of being a Father, but…..I just don’t think this is something Millie wants…… And I think she’s terrified of the prospect of once again being put in a position of choosing between making Moxxie happy, and doing what’s best for her….. This is the kind of thing that some couples just aren’t able to reconcile……

2024-12-22 00:03:10 +0000 UTCHonestly, I don’t fault Octavia for being angry. Here’s the thing, I’m always the Stolas apologist, and I still am, but Octavia’s right. He broke his promise. She was terrified of him running off with Blitz and leaving her behind. He swore he would never do that. But at the end of the day, when the chips were down, that’s exactly what he did. I mean he was ready to die in the last episode just to save Blitz. Don’t get me wrong, I agree with Stolas that he did the right thing by saving Blitz, but even still, he made his choice and Octavia was left hanging out to dry. I don’t think Octavia hates her Father, I just think she’s done with him. She’s not waiting around anymore for him or her Mother to figure their shit out. From this point on, I think she’s just going to do things her way. She’s not an adult, but she’s also not a child anymore. She’s going to grow and learn, and be what she needs to be in order to take care of herself with or without Stolas.

When Stolas went to save Blitz from Satan, he did so completely expecting to die. Sure, the alternative was letting the man he loved die, but at the end of the day he did indeed choose to leave Octavia alone for Blitz's sake. I'm not really going to blame Stolas for making that choice, there was really no right answer for that situation, but in the end, that is what happened

2024-12-21 22:56:43 +0000 UTCI see your point, but Octavia is a child who grew up seeing how her parents treated each other and probably knows, at least to a degree, how Stella treated Stolas. In her eyes she just got abandoned by the one parent who, while may not have been amazing, still treated her better than her mother. Now she's left with a mother who doesn't seem to care about her and an uncle who definitely doesn't care for her and I don't blame her for blaming Stolas for that. Because he did leave her for Blitzo, even if the situation is more complicated than that. While I agree that she should've heard Stolas out, she's not wrong either. She feels like her father only stayed with her out of obligation, that her existence made him stay in a miserable life and she's not wrong, he did. Whether it was the wrong or right thing to do, objectively what she's saying, for the most part, is correct. Stolas stayed for her, stayed in a shitty, abusive relationship for her and developed a dependence on antidepressants for *her*. And that will absolutely fuck your head up, knowing that someone you love suffered because of you. Hell, to some degree she might even think this is the best thing for him, cutting him out so he won't hurt himself for her again

I mean, she is a career woman, it doesn't surprise me that she isn't immediately thrilled by the idea of having a kid, ya'know? Then he finally found love with someone that he genuinely wanted to be with. Octavia doesn't know how Stella treated Stolas, so all she knows is that Stolas cheated on her. And with the point of the happy pills, Stolas needed them to be a good father and probably not want to unalive himself. I understand Octavias side but if she probably took maybe 10 minutes to listen to Stolas she would probably understand more. Also Blitz fully would have excepted her into their family shown when he saw the two gay dads. I rest my case

2024-12-21 22:20:21 +0000 UTCI'm not disagreeing, but in slight fairness to Stolas, he's A) a better parent to Octavia than Stella is, and B) a better parent to Octavia than his own father was to him. It certainly doesn't erase his shortcomings, but I still think he deserves some credit for doing better than any role model he had.

Looking at the entire series, Stolas is a loving father but he's not a good father AT ALL I'm not blaming him for things that aren't his fault just the things that really are. Just bc you love someone it doesn't mean you're good to them. People ignore this just bc they love Stolas and want him and blitz together
