2024-12-11 22:40:19 +0000 UTCIf you want to truly see that in action, check out the Level 17 Battle Royale one-shot they did for the actual show (though be warned, spoilers in the roster for what is going to be LoVM's season 4 timeframe). Every now and then the players held a non-canon dream sequence battle royale between the members of Vox Machina to have a fight to the death against each other to see which would come out on top. There are several of them but Grog really stands out in the Level 17 one, since it's the one that shows off his tank-like ability to just eat damage like it was nothing. Dude goes stomping around the battlefield in an unstoppable murder spree, crushing anything in his path, *while on fire* and refuses to put the fire out because it'd waste a turn to do he could spend killing instead.

2024-12-11 19:18:13 +0000 UTCI always love the tank characters who can laugh off injuries that would kill any other party member so they act as the team's shield, even when the threat is actually strong enough to actually pose a threat to them. Grog doesn't know much, but he does know that no one but him could possibly survive that, so it must be his job!

He said how he had names written on each barrel of the gun (his list) which includes the Briarwoods, Dr. Ripley, Anders, and Stonefell, but that's only five and Scanlan asked who the sixth barrel was for. Well... now you know. But keep in mind, Percy wasn't the one who wrote that list.
