Christmas Movie Reaction?

Hello lovelies! So I'm thinking about doing a Christmas movie reaction, but I'm not sure which one to react to. I've already seen a lot of them, but there's also a lot I haven't. Would love to hear your suggestions in the comments. If some of them get mentioned a lot, and I haven't seen it, I'll add them to a poll and you guys and vote on which one I react to. :D

Thanks for your help!

Klaus

Aiden Bumbolo

'the polar express' is the kind of movie that has such mixed reviews, but it's genuinely one of my favorite christmas movies growing up, you should give it a try :)

Emix1021

Year Without a Santa Claus and Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Kev Rink

Scrooge: A Christmas Carol

Jin

You’ll shoot your eye out

Rod

Oh additionally the 2022 animated version of Scrooged: A Christmas Carol is also a musical.

Kieran Hunter

A year with out a santa claus please

Oscar_Pines_Is_Bestboi

Why would it be close to Easter? It very clearly takes place in winter lol. And it's heavily implied to be near Christmas time

Nektis Noir

Klaus absolutely second favourite movie of all time favourite Christmas movie of all time for context favourite movie of all time is Nimona

SK- Eferthigra

Definitely feel as if Klaus needs to be seen by more people. Such a fun and emotional movie, on top of being absolutely gorgeous.

Butchhardback

Would love for a reaction to Klaus

Top-Notch

muppets christmas carol is amazing

bloodyshadow1

Happiest Season!

Casey McGarrey

Rise of the Guardians, Klaus, Jingle Jangle, Journey To Bethlehem, and The Christmas Chronicles are some of my favorites. If you’re looking for any hallmark style movies I also recommend A Christmas Prince trilogy and The Princess Switch trilogy

Butterfly Warrior

Honestly I don’t even remember I just remember that Santa is a big character and Jack Frost is the main character

WHPGeek

Klaus if you haven’t seen it such a cute and good movie

MoMo Tempest🏳️‍🌈

Christmas Chronicles was surprisingly good

Livefreely

I love the movie, but doesn't it take place closer to Easter?

Brett

KLAAUUUS

Kernalbaby

Definitely Klaus i watched it last year and loved it

Joshua Gwinnell

Happiest Season!

Blair B

I think it would be interesting to see Elijah's take on the controversial lesbian holiday movie Happiest Season with Kristen Stewart. I know it's not conventionally what people think of when they think of Christmas movies, but I am interested in her take on the entire discussion on how Abby should've ended up with Riley instead of going back to Harper.

Jo

I would suggest rise of the guardians because it’s honestly the only Christmas movie I like haha

WHPGeek

Klaus

Melodeh

Klaus and Rise of the guardians are some of my favorites

Levi Kenway

Klaus on Netflix is a beautiful masterpiece and a must watch for the holidays. Other recommendations are Rise of the Guardians, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000 with Jim Carrey), A Christmas Carol (2009), The Santa Clause (with Tim Allen), or Polar Express (a classic with great music)

Cam02

polar express is something of a must watch

Crusepher AMV

KLAUS, it's one of my favorite Christmas movies. Rise of the Guardians is also good

Lil Ferret

Happiest Season! It’s Christmasy AND gay

Caitlin

Rise of the guardians sounds good 👍

Gaby

I would say A Muppet Christmas Carol for a classic option, and Klaus for a more recent choice.

Cacorias85

A Christmas Story is still one of my favorites.

Panic Blitz

Muppet Christmas carol

Brianna Valeriano

"Under the Christmas Tree" is a fun Christmas movie with a lesbian couple and NO QUEER TRAUMA! Like there's nobody anywhere in the movie that says something negative or reacts negatively about it. I definitely recommend it. (and as of now, it's on hulu)

Kaye O'Malley

A christmas Carol goes wrong

Kriss slordal

Klaus, Scrooge a Christmas Carol, Rise of the Guardians, How the the Grinch stole christmas(2000), Arthur Christmas, and that new one That Christmas on Netflix

kiki680

I grew up with the Ernest movies (kind of revealing my age there) and Ernest Saves Christmas being filmed in my home city of Orlando was always a cool factoid I had about it. Another fun fact for you, he was neighbors with the Golden Girls since the exterior shots of both shows was filmed on the backlot of MGM Studios (where Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land are in present day Hollywood Studios). The facades of the exteriors for their homes along with a bunch of others were all on the same street in the backlot and you could take a tour of it

Sere

Single all the way, The Bitch Who Stole Christmas, and Happiest Season are great movies

Bela Claure

Happiest Season certainly fits the brand

Joel Sester

Nightmare before Christmas

Disrespktd

Klaus

bella

The last Christmas movie I watched was a movie called Merry and Gay.

Zora Brightwood

the muppet christmas carol is a classic, same for nightmare before christmas but I assume you've already seen both of those Klaus is great animation ! I think that would fit well with the rest of your channel's catalogue

Spyko

I really like “Love Hard”

Ivey

- The Muppet Christmas Carol - Christmas with the Krank - Violent Night

POMMERA Pierre-Emmanuel

'Last ExMas' is a new one. I haven't seen it yet, but it's on our watchlist next. Here's a quick summary from IMDB: Maggie and Julianne are ex-girlfriends who unexpectedly rekindle the spark during a hometown visit for the holidays. Are they meant to be?

Monique (Pandavengers)

I concur with Klaus!

SauceyRed

Klaus and The Muppet Christmas Carol

Claire Dolge

Polar Express? Perchance.

Nugby

Hogfather, even though it's a two part BBC special

Dinker

- The Muppet Christmas Carol

POMMERA Pierre-Emmanuel

YES Klaus is perfect choice

JackTheRipperk5

Our two traditional Christmas movies are Scrooged with Bill Murray and the 1984 version of A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott. Scrooged is (IMO) the closest adaptation to the spirit of Dickens while the other is the closest to the text (with the exception of A Muppet Christmas Carol which honestly does both letter and spirit better than anything!)

Deynix

Happiest Season or Klaus

Ashley Silver

Klaus is such a good Christmas movie. Honestly one of the few movies i rewatch every holiday season

Ashley Sotelo

Klaus on netflix! I would love your take on the story and the art style

Cullen McCathrin

Rise of the Guardians?? Isn't purely a Christmas animated movie, but it features winter magic and holidays, including Christmas and it's just a amazing movie especially of my childhood! (well at least for me😅) Or then Klaus! With a freaking beautiful animation and with the story also!♥️

Fia

Klaus is a very good Christmas movie

willbill

Klaus on Netflix please, if you haven't watched it

Meganclare7

You should watch something romantic with Mosco

Jeal Tar

Arthur Christmas is an underrated movie. Try that one out

supersoaker

Klaus… do it!

Έμυ Μαυροπουλη

Klaus is my favorite holiday movie now so if you haven't seen it I'd absolutely recommend it

kScuttle

Klaus, it's the best Christmas Movie I've seen in a long time.

FullmetalNinja25

I very much recommend Klaus, it's honestly a really beautiful and heartfelt Christmas film.

Craig York (Yorkie)

Only the best Christmas movie ever, Die Hard.

Kyle Hennett

Live action grinch with Jim Carrey. Me and my family watch it almost every year for Christmas would love to see your reaction to it.

Movie Fanatic

I'm seeing Klaus (very good movie, great animation and humor and emotions) and Rise of the Guardians is also amazing!!

Cathy Breuer

Rise of the Guardians needs and very much deserves a sequal of some kind. It is a VERY unerrated gem.

LikeCat

Highly Recommend the newer Spirited (it's a musical!(

Kieran Hunter

Miracle on 34th street (1994) is another great one

Thunter

One of my favorites that doesn't get talked about enough is A Year Without a Santa Claus

Xandred_Bass

Okay lets see, Christmas film hmm.... 1.Nightmare before Christmas A classic, though there are a number of songs, which may cause copyright issue on YouTube. 2.Klaus Won a bunch of awards, guaranteed good time. 3.Grinch the live action with Jim Carrey. Fantastic work considering what Jim had to endure. 4.Ernest saves Christmas This is a real oldie, from my single digit years. would love a fresh take.

GeeksFTW

I’d agree it definitely is leaning harder into Christmas vibes than Easter

Jittercritter

jessie H

Jittercritter

Klaus is a super good movie, I’d love to see you react to it if you haven’t seen it already! Rise of the Guardians is another fantastic one I think you’d love

Jittercritter

Single All the Way is the MLM gay movie that made the drag duo Trixie and Katya flip a table with how sickeningly stupidly weirdly sweet it is. It’s maybe not to your humor style but it’s gay and Christmas. Idk how you’d feel about it but I’m sure you’d have some kind of a reaction

Margeaux

used to have on VHS. Watched every year. can't believe anyone else knew about Ernest.

GeeksFTW

Klaus is a fantastic movie and would make a great reaction

Luisa Boorman

I know that a lot of people really like the first Home Alone, but I grew up watching the second one. If you could add that to the poll that would be really exciting!

Opal Evergreen

thinking any Christmas Carol variation you might not have seen might work?, i could say Scrooge is a good choice :3

tom david johansen

Klaus is a really cute animated Christmas movie you should check out!

Thunter

Klaus it super cute

duckiidex

Happiest season!!!!! It’s a lesbian Christmas movie! One of my favs!

Katelyn Benroth

I would recommend either the Nightmare Before Christmas, Red One, The Santa Clause, or, even though this technically isn’t a Christmas movie but it does come out this December, Sonic 3

SPIKELB!

Nightmare before Christmas or Klaus!

Amanda

Well damn, guess I'm obligated to watch this childhood movie after so many years. Thanks!

Sev the Hollow

I second everyone's recommendation for Klaus. The movie is amazing. However, there's a new one that just came out called Last ExMas that seems right up your alley.

Chris P3

Klaus

Snowman1271

I think you would enjoy Klaus or Nightmare Before Christmas if you haven't seen either of those. 😊

Kat

Someone suggested this already, but I force my family to watch Jimgle All the Way every year lol

Imperia

Red one is a new Christmas movie. But you can never go wrong with a classic. Like the grinch or the 2018 cartoon grinch.

SHADOW

If you haven’t seen Klaus, I highly recommend it 👍🏻

Phineas5381

The Holiday is one of my favourites :)

Ronja Greger

Jingle Bells? The one with Arnold Swarzenaeger. I can’t spell it

jessie H

I would like to second this one

Die Hard Love Actually A Muppet Christmas Carol Star Wars Holiday Special

Okay so it's not a Christmas movie but... Ultraman: Rising. It's such a damn good movie and it's genuinely just really well made

Moonlight Mariposa

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation

𝓛𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓐𝓷𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓷𝔂🌲🍁🧜🏻

This is tough because I don’t know what you’ve seen. 1.National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. 2. Scrooged.

BlueEyedRaven

Violent Night has become a quick favorite of mine. I always recommend The Ref, BUT it does feature Kevin Spacey. And given what he's done i fault nobody who won't watch his work. Not a Christmas movie, but in my family, we watch A Garfield Christmas every year. Might be fun to take an animated feature from 1987.

Joey Quixote

Klaus seems perfect if you haven’t already seen it. I see a lot of people have requested it as well. 😊👍 I’ll throw out Love Actually as well in case you’ve already seen Klaus. 😌👍

RenaissanceM

Do yourself a favor and go watch it now! You know how there was two versions of it, the wide screen one that was missing a song and the full screen version that had it? That was because they lost the wide screen version of the song back in the 90s when they cut it for a broadcast where they needed to trim some time. As of about 2 years ago they actually finally found the widescreen footage and have restored the widescreen version of the film for the first time in decades!

Sere

@WeeLassReacts did a reaction to Arthur Christmas. Does that sound like a movie that would interest you?

George Kallas

Nightmare before Christmas Die hard Violent night

Jacob Bess

Yokiyume

Die Hard, Edward Scissor Hands, Scrooged, While You Were Sleeping or The Man Who Invented Christmas.

Happiest Season!!!

Wolfwarrior219

Klaus and Rise of the Guardians will always have a special place in my heart (and yes RotG is Christmas even if it's Easter you can't change my mind 😅)

GraysonTodd

As everyone has said, Klaus is a great one! Very heartwarming. If we're going specifically wlw, I love Friends and Family Christmas. It's a very stereotypical Hallmark fake dating movie, but I think it's really cute

Siobhan Bolinger

1. Trading Places. 2. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. 3. Die Hard.

Adam Grunther

Jingle All the Way. Lol

Dragon0921

Kitsune Kokoro

My traditional holiday favorites are: Die Hard (yes, it's a Christmas Movie) National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (this one is really good) Violent Night (like Die Hard but really a Christmas Movie with Santa as the MC) The other suggestions I'm seeing here would be pretty cool.

Serinthia Kelberry

Happiest Season! Christmas and gay (a great pairing)

Sincerely, the Best.

Definitely Klaus on Netflix

Maggie Ray

Olive the Other Reindeer is an underrated movie, and it has songs in it like a musical!

Astrid

KLAUS is a really good animated one, it's on Netflix. As people have mentioned, Rise of the Guardians is also good, but Klaus is much more specifically a Christmas movie, and is better, in my opinion.

Ben Disney

A good choice

Sev the Hollow

Man those are some solid choices and blasts from the past. I haven't seen The Muppets Carol since Elementary

Sev the Hollow

Home alone 1&2 George c Scot’s a Christmas carol Miracle on 34th street Rise of guardians Nightmare before Christmas Gremlins scrooged

Rise of the Guardians, Klaus, or Spirited are all amazing movies

Kate Liaskovska

arthur christmas is very underrated. nightmare before christmas is one of my favorites too

bloodyshadow1

It’s very wholesome

Natoxicated54

It's an anime but it's really sweet. Tokyo Godfathers is a family centric story that's about a found family and it's from one of the best anime directors ever, Satoshi Kon. Its also a piece of media that does touch on queer culture in early 2000s and late 1990s Japan so I think you'd appreciate that aspect of it

Richard Grant

How about Klaus?

Natoxicated54

Christmas with the Kranks (2004) is pretty funny honestly

Miles

Based on things you've mentioned before, you've probably already my favorites: How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), Elf, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. But if you haven't seen one of them, that's my suggestion

Kev Rink

Scrooge ( from 2022 ) on Netflix it's incredible and the songs are great :D
