In Vax's defense, I think he felt the odds were so against them that he didn't see them surviving the battle. So this was his one last chance to confess his feelings to Keyleth. 3. Pikes power is particular potent right now, not just because her powers are super effective against undead but also because being in the temple of her God further amplifies her divine gift! 4. Keyleth is the best...no further explanation, I just love her with all my heart. ❤️ lol

One of my favorite story of my games is when we were climbing down a cliff, and our Wild Mage (yes we had a Wild Mage)'s wild magic activated, which landed on "a unicorn appears 5 ft. from you". Except, like I said, we were climbing down a cliff, so there was no platform for the unicorn to appear on, so all we really got is a free-falling unicorn! :p

2024-11-09 21:05:18 +0000 UTCno one, at the time of C1 for Critical Role Grog's player Travis Willingham who is married to Vax player Laura Bailey did not feel comfortable doing any kind of romance rp for Grog, it wasn't until C2 which their next show the Mighty Nein is based on that he felt comfortable doing a romance RP and even then it was with his wife's character.

Cliffhangers is Matt Mercer’s bread and butter. 🤣 On a side note, yay! We got Pike back! Yeah. Like Mosco says, Ashley Johnson’s voice for Pike is just perfection. 🕯️ Also yeah, like Elijah says. Keyleth is such a great character. Marisha Ray really did her best for making this character, so much appreciate. 🥹

Not to disrespect later fights because those are so high scale, but this was one of the first big examples of yeah there can be and will be catualties in a battle (RIP Archie). Also Vax ,,killing" the undead is so poetic - I know it was (mainly) to survive the waves of enemies, but come on.😉
