2024-10-26 14:29:35 +0000 UTCI'm reminded of Freddie Mercury's frustration at interviewers continually bringing up his sexuality, to which he was honestly confused at why anyone would want him to talk about anything but his music. Your discussion about not being up on social media drama also very much brings to mind how Judy Blume went through a few days of being attacked because she made a statement supporting the artistic rights of JK Rowling, just because she's in her 80s and not online at all, and had no idea of WHY people were angry at Rowling, and once she found out she firmly came out against it.
