This show is a lot more brutal than I expected. Like, I respect how hard they went, but damn dude. Honestly reminds me of the Castlevania show, but maybe even more hardcore? It's been a while since I watched that tho. Edit: omg holy shit I had that Dragonology book too! That's some sweet nostalgia right there

2024-08-14 01:22:21 +0000 UTCThis isn't a spoiler. The first 2 episodes are a basically a pilot and the rest of the season feels totally different. Because when they did their Kickstarter the original goal was only for a 1 hour special of a story not seen in critical role (the krieg story took place before they began filming their sessions on twitch). The rest of the season was an adaption of an arc from the show that was a stretch goal of the kickstarter. This format causes there to feel like a disconnect a bit but the first 2 episodes does a great job at introducing the characters.

I also have a feeling you'll be looking up quite a few familiar voices - being renowned va's gives you quite the connections afterall XD Loving the reactions so far!
