been meaning to watch these for a while but never got around to it until now. I've heard great things about the show, and the thumbnails and passwords tell me this shit's gonna get wild. And right off the bat, I think Keyleth is my favourite simply based on her design and how cute it is that she's a lightweight. Pike and Vex are both great too. Also omg Laura Bailey voices Vex and that's awesome lol.

I just watched the entire series myself last month and it was great, but def an adult show 😅 the second season is much more toned down in terms of adult content, but there are still some scenes that likely aren’t meant for YT. Still, it’s a super cool show. Critical Role did this entire campaign I believe 10 ish years ago, so seeing it on the big screen is such a cool treat! Just a bunch of voice actors being nerds and they all bring their characters to life very well! What’s cool is that you timed this very well. It’s going to get its third season on Oct. 3, so you’ll likely either just be wrapping up s2 or be completely caught up! Either way, it’ll be cool to watch you react to this series here on Patreon 😊

The night before I found out I had been binge watching online so I felt very sleepy. I didn’t wake up until the next afternoon, when I found a throbbing pain in my trigger finger, where the tip was removed and written in blood on my chest was “SUCKER!!!”, and on the wall was, “CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARDS MEAT COMPUTER!”, which was when I found out someone purchased the book and sent it to your address. I know a lot of people like to guess how they roll and think that's how things went but most of the time its them just making a flow with the show so people who dont know D&D can watch it more easily. Either way very excited for you to watch this, and with there new season coming out in the fall and there other story coming soon as well you are just starting it in time.

The animation is stunning (which also keeps improving as the show progresses). I don’t know how you will feel, but as a performer myself I’m very drawn to a show where the main voice actors are in complete artistic control, rather than just a singular show runner. You can feel the love and commitment the main cast has because they created (and therefore deeply understand) these characters. You will also love the Mighty Nein when it releases. Regardless of whether this makes it to YT or stays a Patreon exclusive, I’m very glad you are reacting to it.

In both seasons there are maybe 3 sex scenes total that match the nature of this episode including this episode. A lot of innuendos and gore though and just flat out talk about sex and stuff. Totally up to you just letting you know the first 2 episodes certainly have a different vibe. Partly due to how the Kickstarter was formated

The former probably has a larger audience but there were a slew of reactions when it came out, so it might not bring many new viewers to the channel. RWBY reactions on the other hand are considerably rarer and the fact that the episodes are very short could help get it more views.

Mosco's posted reactions of the whole series, and you do react to shows like Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, so not totally outside your wheelhouse. 2024-08-05 16:43:45 +0000 UTCSome Notes: -Critical Role started as a One Shot for Liam O'Brien (Vax)'s Birthday as most of them had never played D&D before. -Liam O'Brien and Laura Bailey (Vex) play twins as they share the same Birthday though they are 5 years apart in age. -The original name for the team was the SHIT (Super Heroes In Training) but it was changed just before they started streaming. -The name Vox Machina is Latin for "Voice Machine" which is a reference to the fact that the main cast are all Voice Actors. -This show was Kickstarted, originally asking for $750K to do an Animated Movie they raised $11 MILLION and thus it became a series.

2024-08-05 16:37:57 +0000 UTCOne thing you need to get used to about this show is that dialogue that people come up with on the fly during a D&D campaign doesn't always translate well to a straight written story, and it took them a while to figure out the right times to not just put those lines straight into the show, which Scanlan especially suffers from as Sam Riegel would naturally often just fall back on sex jokes, which can make him come off as very one note. Luckily, by Season 2 they'd ironed this all out and everything's a lot more natural.

2024-08-05 16:13:17 +0000 UTCYes, a lot of the moments in the show will have moments that are like "oh yeah, he got a bad roll here" or "wow that must've been an insanely good roll!" While most of the show has been condensed to be able to fit the thousands of hours of livestreams, some scenes are taken straight from the source. The show follows the first livestreamed campaign, Campaign 1, although the livestreams started when they had already been playing for a few months or so. It started as a birthday gift to Liam O'Brien (the voice of Vax'ildan), iirc. There is another show that was greenlit soon after Vox Machina, "The Mighty Nein", which will follow their second livestreamed campaign, Campaign 2, and takes place in the same world. Important to note is that, since it's a D&D campaign, none of the characters have true plot armor. While Matt probably did his best to keep them alive, D&D characters can die at any time if they're not careful, and sometimes things just happen. Just something to keep in mind. Also yes, General Krieg is voiced by David Tennant. The main characters are: Vax'ildan - Half-elf, rogue Vex'ahlia - Half-elf, ranger Percy - Human, gunslinger Keyleth - Air ashari, druid Grog - Half-giant (actually goliath in D&D but renamed due to trademark), barbarian Pike - Gnome, cleric Scanlan - Gnome, bard Fun fact: Vox Machina translates to "voice machine", and the players called the group that because they're all voice actors! Vex'ahlia's ability to detect the presence of dragon stuff is a ranger thing, so no, Vax doesn't have that since he's a rogue.
