The people at the studio making this have confirmed that they're only going to do 2 seasons for each location they explore in the league of legends universe. So while some of the characters will hopefully show up again, the story of piltover and it's champions will be finished in this season.

2024-07-13 05:52:14 +0000 UTCI don't believe that Mel is dead. Her mother's speech could be addressed to anyone from Piltover. Ambessa says "your COUNCIL is dead", not 'the MEMBERS of the council' nor 'ALL OF YOUR council'. In addition, Ambessa would bring the wrath as a response to *any* attack on her daughter regardless of the attacks' success (or failure) to kill Mel. I think the speech is Mel's mother pitching the alliance we see of Enforcers + Ambessa's military, and IMO, based on the tone and emphasis she uses, I think Ambessa is pitching it to Mel, who historically was against this type of play. If she's pitching it to Caitlyn, then any important casualty could be used as ammunition in a well-worded speech e.g.: "your Council [and your mom / and Jayce / and Viktor / and Mel / and etc...] is dead." But again, I don't think Mel (or Jayce, or Viktor) actually died. For one, I swear there are 2-3 frames in the final episode where Mel's body becomes stone-grey like the intro statues just as the bomb hits. (And someone has to build the upgraded sniper rifle.)

2024-06-28 21:05:35 +0000 UTCI actually think Vi becoming an Enforcer is something that was put upon her. Vi and Jinx are sisters, she was in the room when the rocket was fired. Caitlin vouching for her can help but I cannot imagine there won't be some level of outrage directed towards Vi. They might hold her freedom hostage to hunt down Jinx, and prove she had nothing to do with the attack. I honestly think that each act for this season will be separated by a few years each time. Jinx would slip up here and there but overall remain a threat, Vi and Cait would make progress where they can. It would also give time for any Zaun Rebellion to grow under Jinx's wing.
