It's mind-blowing to me how emotional you get reacting to things. It truly seems genuine, so I don't think you are faking it. But to just have that much emotion that close to the surface is WILD. (Not bad or wrong mind you, just crazy to watch and unimaginable for me).

I'd just come off the back of Over The Garden Wall (which anyone who loves Infinity Train will love) and season one struck me as Over The Garden Wall lite. It wasn't until season two that it grabbed me by the heart and didn't let go. I've since come to gain a deeper appreciation for season one as I'm able to view it as its own show. However, it is a show that over seasons two and three goes from strength to strength. You're in for a hell of a ride. While the show was cancelled after season four, it already felt like it peaked with three, while four (and what the creator suggested they had planned for later seasons) seemed to be taking it in the wrong direction rather than playing to the strength in how two and three played to continuity. The way each season tells its own story, yet is also connected to the previous season is so incredibly well done and I haven't seen the like before. I really enjoyed your reactions to this season, and glad I discovered you as a creator through the RemixedByRaven Arcane mixes. I'm excited to see your journey through the rest of the series.

Character development and personal growth aren't linear and it's perfectly fine and normal to fall back from time to time. I'm so sorry about Gizmo. I can't imagine how painful that memory is for you. God man, what an amazing first season. It's been nice watching your reactions to this season. Super excited for the next!

Before everything that happened happened, I think the Ball Pit Car was intended to be the lollipop at the end of Tulip's therapy session. A return to being a kid after grappling with some very adult problems. Her number was at 3, she was embracing change, and her session was trending positively. Alrick eating jam, the turtle handkerchief, the university, all parts of the Unfinished Car. On to Book 2! Keep an eye out for some familiar faces. I've been looking forward to this since something you said in a prior reaction. Another reactor said something very similar to that same episode and I about lost it. Glad to see you two were on the same page!

But we do see her again, and though she’s still somewhat trying to get off the train she finds some more meaning on it. Also, One One’s a much better conductor than Amelia, you’ll see the small changes based off his time with Tulip.

And Amelia didn’t create One-One, she isn’t his mom, and he’s not connected to Alrick. But you did get other theories right. That’s the nature of theorizing tho, you cast a wide net.

Hackers discovered that - of all things - a toy whistle from Captain Crunch was just the right frequency to produce the same control tones that the phone system at the time used to do things like give you a long distance call...or tell it you put coins in the payphone.

2023-12-11 21:54:29 +0000 UTCI gotta say, when I first watched Infiny Train, I was completely MINDBLOWN when One-One was revealed as the true conductor, I legitimately didn't see it coming until Amelia said "I've just been trying to keep One at bay" lmao. I don't usually *actively* theorize about shows I'm watching, I personally prefer being surprised/mindblown than being proven right. Also, the voice changer Alrick/Amelia used is still so fucking cool. I'm a sucker for voice effects (Bill Cipher, Alastor, hehe). Also, it was really fun to watch you read correctly into some things and completely overthink some other things, like some of One-One's lines which I'm 99% sure were just meant to be funny, or the socket that was lingered on next to the exit of the Unfinished Car, which you thought had something to do with One-One. Anyway, what a season! Even after having watched season 2, 3, and most of season 4 (all awesome), season 1 is still my favorite. But I'm excited to see your reactions to the rest of the show.

2023-12-11 21:31:59 +0000 UTCIt's actually not the same actor. One-One is Jeremy Crutchley (Black Sails, Hannibal, Gotham) and the show's creator Owen Dennis, while Alrick is Matthew Rhys (Lord Belos). Though the voice filter on One-One does make them sound quite alike.
