Man, Luz is just so somber and beaten down this whole episode and I'm kinda here for it. It's very good character development. I'm so fucking happy that they were just like, "Fuck it, we're cancelled, so we're gonna make EVERYTHING GAY AS FUCK!!!"

I think they should totally have a poly triangle going on. I'm 150% on board with a snake palisman.... Snakes are adorable and get way too much hate.

2022-10-21 07:24:06 +0000 UTCNot sure if anyone else had this therory but...remember when a lot of people were wondering if it was the palasmins that were keeping Belos alive I'm now wondering if when the other grimwalkers "outlived" or betrayed Belos he possessed them and Hunters purpose for the day of unity was to be the last because Belos was going to possess him so he could stand the human realm...idk. Maybe the palasmins just gave Belos power but the more he used them the more his body would disintegrate so he need to possess something close to his own DNA but didn't want to make a grimwalker of himself?

Luz already knows that Hunter hates to be touched when he's highly emotional, so if you watch the scene back you can see Luz patiently waiting while he cries, only touching him for comfort when she feels the timing is right. Even then, it's a simple arm around the shoulder. It looks cool and aloof on the surface, but it's actually SO tender and thoughtful. I love it.

2022-10-19 22:07:00 +0000 UTCCan I just start off by saying that Amity will always be cool 😎 even if she falls flat on her face Then did anyone else notice Luz's shirt when she had that moment in school. It looked like a staff with a snake on it... Plus the series started off with snakes so it's always sort of been there This special part one had my emotions on a freaking roller coaster and I still have not recovered. With the time and restraints the team has for this show they did a fantastic job I am just still breaking on how much we are going to miss because of it being cut short And can I just say how amazing, forgiving and supportive is Amity. Best gf ever. I'm glad that Luz can be with someone like that, she definitely needs it

I was couldn't wait for your reaction to season 3 because I knew your reaction be amazing and you would explode seeing everything. I also understand you talking about the neurodivergent stuff. I am too. I don't have a diagnosis for anything, but Camila's nightmare hit me hard. I immediately knew that it was representation for neurodivergent struggles. It's not easy and it does feel like a blessing and a curse at times. It was such an amazing episode tho. I watched with my mom and she loved it. BTW do a reaction with your mom since Camila reminds you of her! That would be so awesome!

Also I loved that they brought back Masha so much from season 2! They were the one who read Vee's fortune in "Yesterdays Lie" and oh my goodness Vee is totally crushing on them and even took them up on that tour guide offer in the ending pictures! Why is Vee the absolute cutest, how did creepy shadow Luz become this amazingness!! Ugh!!

If he's going back to the Isles knowing the Collector is loose he has to have some sort of plan. And I have a feeling that the collector isn't going to be actually 'evil' the way Belos is but more a kid with cosmic powers who just doesn't have a parental or authority figure who can reign him in, to draw parallels to Luz's chaotic actions like bringing snakes/fireworks to school. So I wouldn't be surprised to see Belos surviving to the climax.

2022-10-18 20:08:29 +0000 UTCThe crew has revealed that the whole trip to Earth was actually done because Season 3 got cut down like this, and it would have still been mostly in the Boiling Isles if they got a full season. In fact, the Collector was created entirely to help wrap the story up this fast, which gives a good idea of just when they first knew exactly how much longer they had to wrap up the story, and had time to prepare for it. So that makes me feel a bit better about where this is going.
