Norma has been my favourite character from pretty early on because being autistic myself I relate to her a lot, but that sensory overload and panic attack felt real. I actually had to take a break and have a moment to type this. Anxiety, autism, trans issues, and panic attacks, this show is really relatable to me wow. I wish i watched these sooner

2022-08-06 15:39:34 +0000 UTCAs you may know, Dead End is a adaptation of the Deadendia comics and when Hamish Steele first released it, he received many comments about Norma being great autistic representation. But Steele never intended for Norma to be autistic, they just created her and her struggles after their own. Long story short: While making the comics, Steele was diagnosed with autism.
