2024-01-16 07:15:52 +0000 UTCContext: "Robot" is a 30 y/o man, he wants a normal body, he finds a criminal with experience in cloning, so he has criminal clone his friend, and has his memories copied to said clone, basically the same thing that happened to Anne, only she has a clone of her normal body. "Robot" dies about a minute later, killed by his clone, not in cruelty though, "Robot" knew it was his time to go and wanted to pass on. It's a similar situation, found a clip of it on YouTube, look up "death of original Robot" from the show invincible, it's quite similar, only Anne doesn't have to kill herself, she just died on her own much more quickly. You can also click this YT link but if you don't trust it well makes sense, just look up the video yourself, really a comment for anyone wondering if Anne actually died, she did die, same as Robot did, but their stories still continued. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emQBC1fb2Ws

Also not sure if you've seen it yet but Matt did confirm that even though they did "drift apart", it still took years and they still remained close friends through out it all. They just happened to have different friend groups so they didn't hang out as much as they used too. He also said that Marcy visits pretty frequently.

And I'm going through a similar situation of having to move away and slit from my friends and so I was sobbing through this episode and it was honestly cathartic. Personally, because it touched me so much, I liked the ending, just cuz it gave me some much needed solace. And the credits... Did you know each of the girl's theme songs played in it? The only one I'm good at recognizing is Sasha's (its the melody of heartstomper, her song), which played over toad tower. I thought that was sweet... also shoutout to Sasha and Luz, Disney's cannon bi teens <33!! Yeah. What a show.

2022-05-19 15:08:04 +0000 UTCI found the fight against the core a bit rushed tbh, but I forgave them for it while crying bittersweet tears during the second half of the episode. In total this series was great and I liked the overall message of this finale. I was always looking forward to your reaction to the episodes. Amphibia might be over, but there will always be more great series for us to enjoy, thanks to amazing creators like these.
