Also, I wonder, the fact that King heard roar so loud while in the egg, with titan blood being able to manipulate time, or maybe his bloodline just takes forever to hatch and age? What if his specific lineage is that of titans? Maybe the old beast/goat/thingy that delivered the letter was a little more distant relative and the owl beast and collector are ancient and the titan was kings father? Maybe the collector also was able to manipulate his own size? I mean he does seem pretty powerful, cuz if the titan died to stop the collector but was that massive and powerful with the collector being able to interact a little with the outside world despite being trapped underneath the titan itself, yeh. I dunno a little more out there headcanon but maybe king's real dad actually is the titan itself

This is how they found out about each other? Like Garrythefettman said, can't bring it up in the middle of the cafeteria, or maybe they already had been working together and needed to play their roles to continue as spies and fight the emperor as not to raise suspicion? Luz's reaction to figuring out it's Below was gut wrenching for some reason, and poor hunter omg his panic attack at the end was so well done by the crew, like, this poor boy. it was insane the number of confirmed theories and all the new ones that came from this episode. Also the collectors riddles like wtf??? I think he's trapped in the titan somehow, by a sigil in the shape of a moon (he morphs into one when he says that line.) Actually on the collector, we got a lot on him. 1) he was huge in the mind-scape, like, his face, was on display huge on a tree, as its own thing. is he existing solely in Phillips mind?? so only Phillip can see him?? idk why that was there. also, from the way he talked, I think he might be the final villain? Like how the core is in Amphibia, using the ruler to enact its plans. It seems like the collector wants some chaos and fun, and most of all to be free, and the mass genocide via the coven sigils is drain the power of all witches so that they all die and that power is funneled into freeing the collector, probably reuniting his body and spirit. I--im scared. (sorry for the ramble again)

2022-04-24 00:29:55 +0000 UTCThe thing is he completely genuinely believes what he's doing is right, also know that he arrived in the 1660's-70's, just before the salem witch trials, it was a time where witches were heavily feared, so that being implanted in him plus being a force of nature in his own right, and with a mind with the will to see anything through no matter the cost mixed with a dark enough nature... well this is what it turns into, I've been thinking on this for since the episode that Luz and Lilith met Phillip when they went back in time. Someone similar to Eren Jaeger but willing to kill absolutely everyone in his path.

It wasn't till they caught Raine that they started working together. It's not like you betraying the homicidal fanatic you work for is the sort of thing you can bring up over lunch in the cafeteria.

2022-04-23 23:03:19 +0000 UTCI honestly find it kind of hilarious that Raine's working with the two Coven Heads directly responsible for their capture, like they managed to convince the two in the brief timespan between when they were captured and when they escaped. That's that bard charisma right there. Hell, if Kiki had given them ten more seconds before binding them up with their sigil they may have just gotten her on board too.
