A FULL explanation for CURRENT Patrons & Billing!

Good morning! Thank you all for being so patient with this "Charge Up front" process. I wanted to be able to give you a full explanation on how you will be billed! Please keep in mind that this explanation is for patrons who signed up before the "Charge Up front" option was implemented. TLDR; You will not get charged double on the first of July! But for a more thorough explanation, I will just copy and paste the information that was given to me via Patreon support: All your patrons who had pledged to you prior to you having charge upfront will still be charged on the first of July but it will count towards July. If you were not to have charge upfront, it would have counted for June. If they maintain their pledge till the first, they will not be charged for two months and will only be charged 1x their pledge amount. It's almost as if they were to have received access for June without being charged. It seems this way as your new patrons will be charged immediately upon pledging to you. We do not retroactively charge those who have already pledged to you but move their pledge to count for July instead of June. You are not loosing any income from those who were your patrons prior to being on charge upfront as they were already going to be charged on the first. For those who do not want to view July's content, they will need to delete their pledge prior to the first - only thing is that if they had been a patron prior to you having charge upfront, I would recommend letting them know to stick around till the first so they don't get by without paying.

They've tried to word it like you're not missing out on a months income because people are still being charged on July 1st but that payment is now basically covering 2 months of rewards. Seems a bit dodgy on their part 😞

Honestly, I never thought about this. The old way didn't sound like it was fair to you, and I can't see why Charge up front wasn't standard policy from the beginning. Well, I hope you didn't loose too much revenue because of a few people stealing your content. I've been a member for about a week, now. I'm very happy to have joined.
