I am definitely not as much of a fan of book 2 as book 1. Were it me, I think by this point I would honestly choose death over dealing with Suds. While I like - indeed, love - a lot of what you are doing in this arc, Suds' behavior makes me furious. As a teenager, I once chose being homeless in a northern winter rather than put up with, in comparison, was less than one tenth of what the main character has to deal with from Suds.
