Vi COMPLETELY overstepped in my opinion and Cait has every right to be pissed off. Let's go over it real quick. Vi was the reason Cait didn't shoot Jinx in the S1 ending, leading to Cait's mom dying. (This imo isn't an actual error on Vi's fault, just giving background for the rest) Vi then says "Powder is gone, this has to end", and then right before the battle, "take the shot" followed by Cait getting Vi's reassurance, Vi is then unable to finish Jinx off, and blocks Caits shot TWICE, and follows that up by comparing Cait to Jinx, her mom's killer.. Of course Cait is pissed after that, ANYONE would and should be honestly. Also, Vi clearly doesn't actually care about the kid itself, just Caitlyns sanity and the fact that Jinx was like an older sister to the kid if anything, since in S1 she told Jayce "One dead kid? There's hundreds more where that came from" after Jayce accidentaly killed a child. So, Vi would probably sacrifice that child for the sake of getting rid of Jinx if the kid wasn't actively hugging Jinx.
