The first time I watched this was in the theater but I had gone out to dinner with a bunch of friends before hand and accidentally drank a bit too much so it didn't scare me at all. But the two times I have seen it since then every damn jump scare gets me.

2024-10-20 04:52:29 +0000 UTCThe Conjuring is one of those rare horror films that is actually well done. My only issue with the film is that it falls apart at the climax, it becomes less scary. Over all though, the ambiance and build up is still sooo worth it. I will say that The Conjuring 2 is definitely worth a watch, then its kind of a huge drop off after that. The other films from "The Conjurverse" are hit or miss, so honestly up to you if you wanna check them out lol.

2024-10-20 02:32:39 +0000 UTCGreat reaction! A real scary movie indeed, this movie makes me wonder what actual footage are stored in some vaults over at the Vaticans or similar areas. There has been happenings in the house i grew up in and my mom and dad said things going on mostly in my bedroom, but as both of them really denying anything ad blames to a draft in most cases, but yet they were both experiance same things and so did i. We all had the feelings someone were watching you when being in that room, never felt alone even for a minute, and it were a two story house and my bedroom were on the upper floor next to their bedroom. We were often hearings things like footsteps running quite heavily across the floor when we were downstairs. One thing i remember the most which is still getting to me even today is waking up in the night in my early teens hearing a lot of sounds coming from downstairs in the kitchen, i thought it were my mom or dad doing something but they were awake too thinking it was me being down tere. It were the sound of stacking food plates loudly ontop of each others. That sound still gets everytime.
