Hey it’s the last page of Dinosaurs! Soon we’re wrapping up the Stray Bullet saga with “Love Like Blood” and the yet to be named “Damaged II/ date with a werewolf”. As far as putting issue #3 of Stray Bullet together, I have 5 or 6 pages to go on part 3 of Loose, and then covers and such to come up with.
But first—- I have a few 1-2 pagers I want to knock out.
- One is Mitch in Kurt’s Comix, much like the one I did recently of Doug speaking on porn movies… a criterion closet spoof that explores some key comics that served as inspiration for Stray Bullet.
- Another is a little story about the trees they just cut down in my neighborhood and how it feels like current awful events.
- And finally a little origin story about the Ghost Skater’s duct tape finger (not the mummified one Doug has). I sometimes wonder how much of the details in my world are gleaned by readers… and I think this is one detail that people miss, or misunderstand. It’s not an important detail, but it’s one that is there in every drawing of him and I thought a cute (yet macabre) little origin story for it might be something we all can use.
I haven’t quite decided which to do first, so go ahead and tell me what sounds most interesting to you, if you like. I will take that into consideration!
