I had started this a few years ago as a possible tattoo design for him, and decided to finish it as a design for maybe a shirt or print or something for his birthday, adding some inset panels to make it like a comic page.
William has always called Toshiro Mifune his boyfriend so I did this of him in Akira Kurosawa’s Throne of Blood. A great little movie if you’re into such things.
Anyway, happy birthday to my bestest friend in the world. I love you.
