All Monsters Attack commission
Added 2025-07-12 17:00:04 +0000 UTCRecently I did this commission for episode art of a podcast called Skreeonk! Which is a couple of gay guys talking about Godzilla movies. It’s a lot of fun, and when I heard about them commissioning artists for the podcast art, I raised my hand. I had for some time wanted to draw the characters from this particular film, All Monsters Attack, which is less a true Godzilla movie and more about a latch-key kid who has to deal with bullies and bank robbers, and has an inner fantasy life of being friends with Minilla (the Son of Godzilla) and learns to be brave through this imaginary bond. A lot of people dislike the film for any number of reasons, but you know, it’s the only kaiju movie I can look at and say “I can relate.”
The episode is going up at the end of the month, I will post a reminder then!
“Skreeonk” is the agreed upon way to write Godzilla’s roar in letters.
