The Goat of Mendes
Added 2025-07-07 17:00:08 +0000 UTCI kinda took note of this character from Hammer’s “the Devil Rides Out” from 1968, a film I have yet to see (it’s not streaming anywhere) when I saw a gif from it and was impressed by the actor’s rack. Eddie Powell was more of a stuntman. He was Christopher Lee’s stunt double, and did xenomorph stunts in the first two Alien films. His acting roles are usually in full costume/prosthetics, with roles in Flash Gordon, Legend, and in this film as the Devil.
I realize that this is an offbeat choice for the second man crush Monday, but to be honest it reflects my mood for the world today. More traditional hunks to come.

Ooh! I've watched this one several times. it was the last film by the "old guard" Hammer filmmakers. I have another tidbit about this movie, but it's also a spoiler, so lemme know when you've watched it and I'll tell you, 'cause it's kinda amusing.
