Riff Raff - Midnight Movie sticker set 3rd of 3

I saw a hell of a lot of Midnight Movies in the 70’s, and Rocky Horror Picture Show was certainly the first I saw… and then over and over again during 8th and 9th grade. I can’t imagine how many times total now, at least 25 and I would think more. My adolescent friend group of nerds and artists played at having our own shadow cast, though that name had yet to be coined. Riff Raff was always who I chose to play as, and I put his “tri-wand of lighting bolts” into my D&D campaign, lol.
William is doing his June sticker from RHPS as well, Dr. Frank N Furter!
Looking on this set as a whole, I think the quality of the art jumped quite a bit as the films chosen mattered more to me personally… funny how that goes. I’m not too fond of the Beef one now. I really love Gerrit Graham’s performance as the character, but I have never much cared for the film Phantom of the Paradise. It feels so straight compared to RHPS. Yuck. Anyway, I might have to rework that one. We’ll see.

I know I should say that my favorite film is The Godfather or Citizen Kane or Pulp Fiction— but I cannot deny that it really is Rocky Horror all the way. It changed my life and opened up my world when I saw it at the impressionable age of 12. It freed me of my suburban shackles and showed me there was a life beyond my own Denton.
