I had to write this one twice as I remembered that these are basically of the characters as they appear in Hard to Swallow… I don’t want to give away too much about the current storyline in Stray Bullet. Damaged stars Grant, and part 4 of Stray Bullet is going to be digging into his situation quite heavily.

As is often the case, these 4 characters (Feral, Mitch, Doug, and Grant) reflect different aspects of my own self, and Grant often gets left out in favor of the more fun/attractive personalities of the other three… but he’s as significant as the confident and horny ones. I’m all of the things he is. I’ve compartmentalized my own sex life to the point where I had likened cruising to being a werewolf, and thus the idea of Feral was born. I am out, and have been since I was out of high school, but I am private about my private life to co-workers and family. I’m socially anxious, and fear being mispercieved. I’m baseline depressed and possibly high masking on the spectrum. It’s important to be exploring these things with my characters as well.
