Midnight Movie sticker 1: BEEF

Phantom of the Paradise is a weird movie for me, I think it’s like a straight counter to the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and there’s so many things about it that are just misses for me, when RHPS is just perfect on all fronts. That being said, I love Garrit Graham’s portrayal of the queer glam rocker BEEF in this movie. The character feels like he’s gay for straight consumption… but Graham is so great in the role I can’t help but giggle along.
