I saw that happen with a number of people who were at the end of this trend, but the new protease inhibitors saved them.

2024-12-13 00:03:14 +0000 UTCI had an acquaintance who couldn't get a job and his health was spiraling, so he quit the meds and just let go and found a kind of nirvana in having nothing and no future--then his health suddenly improved, and he found himself in a "now what do I do" situation. Last I heard of him, he had found a job, was volunteering at a community outreach organization, and living his best life.
