It’s fun drawing myself with varied looks like my mohawks and such. Once upon a time someone commented on a review of Hard to Swallow that they hated how when the artists draw themselves better looking than they are in reality. I mentally wrestle with this anonymous person every time I draw myself since, wondering just how unattractive I should make myself look to satisfy them. But you know we have to make ourselves interesting to draw and for people to bother looking at, or why try in the first place, y’know?

I’m 24 here, fire red manic-panic mohawk. I’m not certain about the long-haired boy’s name. Aaron, maybe? He was the first guy I dated who told me he was hiv positive, and he didn’t want to get any closer because he was afraid of everything that could and would happen in those days. Luis and Dan are in Stray Bullet: Dinosaurs. Luis was a smoking hot roommate, and Dan was a guy I met at work and ended up being with for over 5 years.
