I mentioned before that I am doing a comic for a food-themed anthology. This book has chapters devoted to sub-themes, and each of those chapters includes the aforementioned comic, a recipe by a professional chef, and an illustration of the recipe (art by the comicbook artist of that chapter). This is a preliminary of my illustration, a lavender cake titled the Lavender Menace. It’s a vegan cake and it sounds yummy! I am not 100% vegan but love vegan food. I could easily be vegan, it’s just a hassle to be one in this stupid world we live in. I have meat once a day or less, and have cheese as a treat, and eggs a few times a week. But I cook 1-3 totally vegan meals a day. Usually 2 out of 3.
I should be done with the illustration today. Looking at the prelim now I like the energy of it over the more polished finish, which is often the case.
