Still working on setting up the Kickstarter. We decided to launch after Pride in Panels, so I am not having to rush as much. Doing this character lineup has gotten me to decide to add character sketches as a basic reward tier!
I just found an amazing photocopy shop near me, and the owner is so sweet. He’s a copier repairman, so he keeps the copy prices low because maintenance he does himself. He says they don’t break even on the copy shop part of his business sometimes b/c he charges so little. We must protect him. Lol.
I’m working on this month’s welcome sketch now, and will be stapling and trimming the zines. I’m probably going to do a one page autobiographical comic I had been thinking of off and on over the years, but it suddenly has a different ending that is somewhat topical because of something that happened recently… if you follow me on instagram I was talking about it in my stories yesterday.
Now I’m off to run for the first time in a week after our “500 year storm” has passed. With my shoulder injury running is the only exercise I can still do, but damn if I am gonna do it when it’s raining and 50 degrees out!
