January roundup/welcome to February
Added 2024-02-02 00:18:17 +0000 UTCI’m trying a simpler/cleaner layout for the roundups this year! The first month of the year finished up the Sadako fanzine work, saw a sexy video game hunk for a new welcome sketch, a sexy video game hunk for the month’s sticker, last quarter’s sticker set to the printer, and more Velvet Collar pages (some of my favorites).
What’s coming in February? We’re (William and I/Tannis Comix) will be at Pride in Panels in a few weeks where the Sadako zine will debut, as well as the We Belong anthology of William’s. I also hope to have our first kickstarter launched by then, for Stray Bullet #2. It’s going to be a milestone for us, we’ve been involved in plenty of kickstarters in the past, but this is the first that we are doing directly as our own. It’s not a huge ask, so not a lot of pressure. But that’s going to be taking up a fair amount of attention over the next few weeks. I’ve not forgotten about the “date with a werewolf” story, I just need to write it first. It will probably be published as Damaged 2, as it will not only be an epilogue to Stray Bullet, but a sequel to Damaged as well. I will be drawing and posting pages of part 3 of Loose in the meantime, while preparing a script for Damaged 2. Also expect a welcome sketch, and this month’s sticker!
