Hey everyone, the next few days William and I are at a conference at UC Santa Cruz, where my hot bf is on a panel representing queer horror in comic books. I don’t think I will have time to work on drawing much, I may do some, but I will probably be doing some much needed writing.

So in this lull I will be posting about Velvet Collar, the work I did for hire 5 years ago. As I mentioned before, the writer passed away recently, and the book isn’t going to be finished. I was under contract to not share the work as I was doing it, but since the contract was terminated and otherwise it will just be lost to the void… so I am going to post it here as content for my Patrons. I fought for the right to do so as I was doing the work, but I was denied. I didn’t see much point in that, all it could do is create interest, but what could I do. It’s something I insist on with work for hire, since.

This is a splash page from later in issue 1, which I did first because it was the first time we have all 5 main characters in the same shot so I could use it as reference and we could as use as promotional material.
