Mai sketch

Today I’m working on writing my script/essay on Sadako… and have been collecting material and researching details across so much Ring related media… I took a break and did a sketch of Mai Takano, a character from the original novel, it’s sequel, the film versions of the two books, and the alternate film sequel. Not a paranormal or supernatural character herself, she’s a background character at first, pivotal in the sequel, and the reluctant protagonist of the third/alternate. She’s truly a cypher of a character but I love her 😍.
