San Diego Comic con is happening and tomorrow William and I will be there! William is on the “big gay panel” this year, as editor of We Belong, a queer black comics anthology. I’ll be sharing about this in more depth soon! This comic con should be interesting… it’s usually dominated by Hollywood movies, but the ongoing strikes mean it won’t be so this year. Maybe the crowds will be manageable for a change, and the world’s largest comic convention will be about comics.

So the crowdfunding for this anthology is launching this weekend, and I’m planning on afterwards getting our first crowdfunding campaign together as Tannis Comix, which will be Stray Bullet #2. I believe I will also be compiling material for a mini-comic to drop before Halloween… I have a handful of material on my girl Sadako, and I honestly have always wanted to do a zine/mini devoted to everyone’s favorite intersex yurei. We at Tannis (William and I) want to produce comics and to avoid having to crowdfund EVERYTHING, we want to do lots of zerox-style minis to complement the professionally printed full-color books. So look forward to that/these!

Also, here’s a second preview panel since it will be a few days before I can get Dinosaurs pg.6 up. I really like the backside drawing here and almost posted it without color, just so the line art would be clearer.
