Here's a little known story.
Steve (Lozier) and I were in San Francisco, I think to go to my first Alternative Press Expo. We were staying at my friend Stryker's place, and poking around on M4M or Sex4HotMenNow or some ancient hook-up site, just looking at pictures... people watching, in a way.
We came across a profile of a middle-aged average joe, whose profile name was "grey otter". We immediately spun him an alter-ego, and a back story. Thus, the Grey Otter was born.
I even based his appearance on the guy's profile pic, or at least how I remembered it.
