Still finishing up page 27 of FITR so here’s an archive post to hopefully hold you over! My stride has been sorely interrupted by the holidays, getting caught up in playing some video games a little too much, and getting sick from my booster shot (I got pretty sick from the 2nd Moderna shot, too).

So this is an unused tattoo design, meant to be a band around a thigh. I had certainly heard of symposia before, but had no idea until being asked to design this just what the original meaning of symposium was. For those who don’t know, in ancient Greece, a symposium was a meeting of thinkers, who would lay around on daybeds, play music, philosophize, get drunk, and fuck around with young men. Oh, the hedonism! Lol.

I’m sad that this client (a rather conservative guy) got cold feet. This would have been fun to do.
