Added 2021-04-09 20:46:37 +0000 UTCThis was the original Hole in the Wall Saloon in San Francisco, which in the second half of the 90s was our preferred hang out. Like the rest of the Folsom street area bars, the day of (and weekend leading to) the eponymous street fair were the most crowded they got. Navigating the bar was difficult but fun, since the thick wall of people were hot and friendly. This bar, like a few others in the area, had an area way in the back where nasty things were usually going on. Eventually the city cracked down on it and the world suffered for it.
