Welcome aboard, Brien!
Added 2021-01-03 07:21:08 +0000 UTCMy first post (and artwork) of 2021 is a patron welcome sketch for an old friend who recently became a patron, Brien! We met in the mid 90s in the Hole in the Wall Saloon in San Francisco, much like a number of my long time friends. He originally chose Starbuck (Katie Sackhoff) whom I would have been happy to draw, but I suggested drawing his partner who had passed away a year ago and he agreed to this.
I struggled with this a bit, spent a day on one painting and tossed it out, started a second. I still don’t think it’s captured his likeness as much as I would like, but I am happy with it overall and I hope Brien is as well.
I will post about my plans for this page tomorrow or Monday, possible changes to tiers and rewards, and my new year’s resolutions! Lol.
