2025-10-22 23:12:43 +0000 UTCep 15 + 16 argh that narration was SO jarring I was putting it on higher speed to make it through XD I had rlly hoped we'd get a better ending for Wenlang & Gao Tu, I know there are some scenes out there we haven't seen so there miiiiight be a special ep, but idek if that's happening so their ending is frustrating. Sadly the authors were actually involved in the show (not everything went as they hoped I know they had disagreements with a director and had scenes that were nearly unusable in their POV), but I think they had enough say on the overall series that I wish they e.g. had diviated at the point when Gao Tu was considering resigning, if they had sped up that time-line and found a way to lead to Gao Tu's pregnancy at an earlier point (compared to Shaoyou) we would have enough time to explore everything afterwards :( (but the 2. pairing barely gets anything in the novel too, sogh) also wish the overall pacing would've been tighter e.g. I liked the Biotech/company side of the story, but some scenes could've been shorter to give us time to explore the charas outside this, e.g. the phone call to Hua Yong to get Wenlang when he was looking for Gao Tu during his rut was from his omega dad, but that's something show watchers barely connect I feel like you need novel knowledge for their backstory (haven't fully read the novel yet, but saw multiple detail explanations from novel readers). But yes there were luckily many good parts to the show, their chemistry was great, I liked the 4 different charas as example for ABO and I Love our precious menace Hua Yong :) It's also super cute to me that Peanut calls Wenlang as 'baba Wenlang' <3 I soooo would've loved to see that development too :') gonna miss this little show ^^ Thanks for your reactions :)

2025-10-22 22:28:25 +0000 UTCI know in the novel most of Gaotu and Wenlang couple stuff was in the extra episodes so if the show isn't gonna do special episodes surrounding our 2nd couple, the ending the second couple got was bad! They just met, hugged and nothing! Tf!! I am extremely disappointed in how they handled the 2nd CP throughout the show. Like don't give a 2nd CP if are not gonna show them properly!

2025-10-10 22:41:12 +0000 UTCep 14: honestly I adore shameless down-bad Hua Yong settling himself into Shaoyou's life like 'yes I'm here to stay and you're gonna like it' lol. like yes he's a lot & over the top with everything rvolving around Shaoyou for him, but I'm kinda in the same boat as Shaoyou and can't help thinking he's an adorable menace hehe But yes I SO WISH we'd see more of Gao Tu & Wenlang, can't believe it's only 2 epis left and everything is still unresolved, I so hoped we'd get more for them and not a rushed ending but I'm trying to lower my expectations for the next epis *sigh* OHHHH I'm happy to hear you'll check out Khemjira, it's getting better with each epi, absolutely loved ep 8 which just aired ^^ for the 1. epi I just wanna say don't mind the jumpscares, it will chill out in the later epis and be more about the spiritual apsects ^^

They are depicted to be like wolves, or I’m led to believe so for yong, we see he has to be chained up so he can’t go after sheng. He can’t control it at all. He’s had so many times where sheng was out of it and he never did anything, I mean this far, yes he’s kissed him and what not but, I think we’re meant to see this as an oops. Those guys left the outer doors open and he felt threatened enough to break his chains. He hurt or killed those guys unconsciously I assume because he’s out of his mind. Again in real life bad bad, in omega verse still bad but like hunter prey. Or that’s just what I’ve heard/read anyway correct me if I’m wrong. We see it with gaotu and shen they said “what if he meets an alpha with 90% compatible” which leads me to believe if that happens neither party would be able to resist. And clearly he probably could see him but because it’s sort of like instinct it’s driven purely by pheromones. This got a lot of crap from people about this ep. Because it’s a different universe there are different rules. 😍 sorry this is so long! lol

Ofc Hua Yong would make fish soup for his own personal omega 😂 Edit: it's also a Chinese belief that giving a pregnant person fish soup makes them produce better milk for their baby

2025-08-22 16:45:24 +0000 UTCep 7: no spoilers just clearing up the situation with the phone call between 'rockstar' and Wenlang: Wenlang called 'rockstar' a cousin of Hua Yong ^^ so yeah def 2 diff people between the call and then the text message about Wenlang's family issues ^^ I was so sad for Gao Tu, his potential little birthday celebration with Wenlang was ended by Shaoyou & Wenlang being alpha idiots XD thanks for the reaction :)

2025-08-22 09:24:58 +0000 UTCep 6: yessss Wenlang getting the lights fixed for Gao Tu was such a nice gesture and a good moment to show that there are reasons why Gao Tu fell for him even tho Wenlang is a jealous grump putting his foot in his mouth too often otherwise lol yep that resignation letter was sadly destroyed too quickly ^^ The show manages to make toxic Hua Yong fun, but yeah I struggled a bit with the faked SA, like damn I would hate that IRL, but then I just enjoyed how well Eliot played Hua Yong and enjoy this luckily fictional mess and continue loving Hua Yong lol. Hua Yong/Shaoyou are super adorable in their own messy way :3 (random facts: for that list of scientists Shaoyou receives on his phone they simply used the actors' names (+ authors) hehe)

It's from 2023 and a second season just finished airing on this July. Maybe check it out, it's a Omegaverse Car Racing Series that is based on a Novel series (like most BL). It has Pavel, you might have heard of him from 2Moons 2.

2025-08-07 17:34:02 +0000 UTCep 5 yeah the hope Gao Tu gets found out so they can intervene his self-destructive cover-up is real XD the doc going off on Wenlang was nice, but of course it didn't click for Wenlang why ^^ Hua Yong was tying himself up due to his strong rut & mate-seeking-syndrome (yes those wounds were fresh & self-inflicted), but the way he tied himself up is a choice (+ the choice of punishment for his drug dealing underlings) so personally I'd say there's at least a bit of kink involved lol

Before it aired I was a bit worried how they'd manage to bring ABO to life, but I think they're doing rlly great! Things like visualization of pheromones are a good plus in the storytelling + helps people new to Omegaverse to understand these concepts easier. And yes the way they handle heats/ruts feels realistic & relatable (e.g. to period-pains) Gao Tu is a precious bean, I think many people have chosen him as their fav :) Personally atm my fav is Hua Yong hehe :3

2025-07-19 01:40:26 +0000 UTCHonestly personally I struggle to accept Pit Babe as ABO, they only mention Alphas in the context of powers & Babe not liking the scent of others (related to his power), that's it, they could've just made a mutant based universe ^^ I'm not expecting full on mpreg from them haha, but so many missed chances of integrating smaller ABO tropes e.g. saying they're a 'pack' & letting us know the dynamics of the other charas etc
