"Capo" (Mamma Aiuto Gang Boss) from Porco Rosso
Added 2020-07-06 01:32:47 +0000 UTCWe watched the 1992 Miyazaki film Porco Rosso a few nights ago, and though it was fine and fun, it was not among my favorite Studio Ghibli films.
BUT it did feature some adorable pirates who were all sweet polite brutes who all looked like Bluto was their dad and Wario was their other dad. Their boss just looked like a scaled up version of the rest of them, and I think he's my first Miyazaki crush. He doesn't really have a name other than "Mamma Aiuto Gang Boss", but the Ghibli wkia refers to him as "Capo" which is just Italian for "boss".
