Actually one of my favorite third act pages.

Ages ago, doubting my writing ability, I read up on act structure for comics and realized I had actually been following it pretty closely already... I must have learned it subconsciously just from all the comics I'd read over the years.

This story is a good example:

I like keeping the epilogue down to one page or less. It's tight.

Anyways, except for the cover for this story (which appeared on the back cover of Dogspunk Comix #1), this is the end of this story. What do you guys think? Do you like my characters even when they aren't fucking? Come to think of it, there's no real conflict either, which sex in comix is a dramatic stand-in for. Does this work for you? Lemme know ;)

I agree completely. I love both your characters and the plots. Your art is also the thing that drew me to buy Hard to Swallow #1 years ago and also one of the reasons I'm here on Patreon. To quote a favourite artist of mine "I'm a visual glutton". I'm here for the feast. Burial of the Rats was glorious to behold! The sex featured in your stories is merely one component of them and certainly isn't my main motivator in reading your work. It's more about the overall package. It's cool, alternative and punk rock. Very much like 2000AD in its heyday. This is a fun little character piece. The tattoo is the punch line but also kinda heartwarming. It's a very nice addition to the characters' personal histories.

I don’t know if I am a-typical of most fans of your work or not, but I’ve always read your work more for the stories and character personalities (and art), so I enjoy them with or without the actual sex. This felt like a nice little short-story that expands your characters, the friendship between Doug and Mitch and includes some after-world building, so it’s fun for what it is without a major conflict.
