Definitely that's why I always though that even if it wasn't Deku's fault that Kacchan was bullying him (it's always the bully's fault), If Deku had a stronger and more confident personality Bakugo wouldn't keep humiliating him because Deku would demand respect as any other person who's living his own life. So I'm glad to see Deku is becoming more confident too. But yeah Bakugo has always been an interesting character specially because he has so much room for development

And as you said that his character is different when he is with kirishima, remember when he fought ochaco. He also respected her as an equal who wants to become a hero. I think what he didnt liked about deku was that deku always chased him instead of chasing his own goals, thats what gets clear to him after he realized that he was chasing after deku after he became strong.
