2022-10-13 00:14:22 +0000 UTCWow, that opening was extremely well animated in a very fun way while conveying how bloody it seems to get. Didn't expect it to have some dark fun/comedic elements as this suggests, so we'll see. In the comments of the video people noticed a bunch of nods/callbacks/references to movies. The one that was most obvious to me was a nod to No Country for Old Men, which may be my favorite movie. I also noticed Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Evangelion callbacks, and some bits reminded me of Parasyte the Maxim and also Erased animes. The rest that people noticed makes me like this opening even more, it might be genius. The outro might be more straightforward in line with the tone I was expecting for this anime. Should be fun.
