Hey me Droogs, so upcoming (on the 18th I believe) Patreon is changing the way they charge users once again. They say that this is to keep a consistent amount going to the creators, but it means that some of the fees are going to be added to the patron's charges... for instance, if you are now pledging $10 dollars a month, Patreon will be charging you instead of $10, something more like $10.64. Personally, I am fine with getting a varied amount each month (the variations come from different fees for processing of different credit cards and such)... it seems better than putting off my generous Droogs with nickle and dime-ing them with new added fees.
Anyway, this will be a kick in the ass for me to restructure and simplify the patron tiers like I've said I am going to do. I'm totally fine with any of you dropping to a lower tier because of any of this.
Another option is for me to lower the tiers by a fraction so that the added fees don't impact you. For instance, changing the $10 dollar tier to $9, $5 to $4.50, etc. Some people I follow are doing this... it's something to think about.

There's been a lot of negative response to this, from creators, patrons, and the press.
What are your thoughts?
