Hey me Droogs!
I know I said I was done with this but it seems I needed a break, which I've done before.
A few weeks back I tabled at the Tom of Finland Erotic Art Fair, and met a number of fans of Feral and the Ghost Skater... and had a chat with artist Brad Rader about the importance of the splash page and how it introduces a tone and makes an important first impression of the character portrayed in it. I got to thinking about Stray Bullet, and how for possibly the first time in my comic book career I had forgone an exciting splash page. That and a few other things had left me unexcited to work on the book, and led me to walk away from it for a month now.
Well, it's back, and I plan to make it fun again... at least enough to make me happy to work on it. It might mean I will miss a week here and there while I work out layouts instead of rushing through them just to get them done, but it will be worth it.
Also: I finally made a logo for Stray Bullet, lol
