my own patronage

I'm aware that each time I become someone's patron, you all get notifications about it. It seems you don't get them when I stop being someone's patron!
I'd love to support everyone I enjoy, but I can't really afford to. I've supported friends with the hope of follow-backs, but except for one in particular (hi, Neko!) that hasn't happened.
I've pledged a dollar or two here and there to different artists, podcasts, et al, but just yesterday cut back on most of these before pledging $1 a month to an ASMR artist I enjoy.
Someone pointed out that it might seem like I am giving away all of the money I take in here as patronage to others, but it isn't the case. And since the trend has been a slight attrition over time, unless I can built up my numbers here some I may be cutting more.
Thanks for understanding, and thank you all for your continued patronage!

I've only gotten one or two of those notifications, but I get every post notification. maybe there's a setting on the receiver's end of the transaction that determines it?

I can see who you are a patron of on your Patreon page, but unless I actively go there and look for it, I'm none the wiser. I didn't know Patreon even sent out notifications for that.
