Yeah that the Xingke and the Empress story was really wholesome! We have seen plenty of Schnaizel but I feel I still need to see if he's going for something else, but so far really interested in his character and agree with you, really well done antagonist. Actually I feel like the king's kids have all been really interesting. So far apart from Lelouch my favorite have been Schnaizel and Cornellia

It actually got my heart when Xingke saying that for those 6 years, the only thing he wanted was to fulfill his promise to the Empress Tian Zi. Very wholesome. Of course Lelouch and Nunnally relationship are the most wholesome but this is also very cute and nice relationship. BTW of course Schnaizel once again showing that to be a great villain you don't need to be like Emperor Charles. You just can be like Schnaizel: Calm, calculated, manipulative, very intelligent and well mannered. And of course like super bonus have the same voice actor that voiced Pain from Naruto Shippuden. His voice is confident yet so soft at the same time.) Lelouch maybe my favourite protagonist and anime character ever, but Schnaizel definitely in my top 10 villains in anime history. Very love that type of villains
