I sent you all messages thanking you for this, but I wanted to expound on it in a post.
This has been a peculiar month for my Patreon page, as you all know, because I am deep into illustrating a comic book for hire. It's going well, and will more than likely result in continued work to at least finish out the story beginning in this comic.
That would (obviously) be awesome.
But attention to my own comic has been thin during this process. There's good news on that front, however, because I misread the contract (you can roll your eyes at me now) and the deadline wasn't quite as tight as I thought it was... so in the future, I will be able to work on future issues of Velvet Collar and still keep up new pages of Stray Bullet on schedule.
This has been a great learning experience for me on how to make this work, and I think my work has improved quite a bit at the same time.
So thanks again, Droogies, for sticking with me. I love you all.
The story follows 6 threads that come together by the end of the first issue. I decided to tackle each as a group, and the first two had a lot of arguing, but now I can draw people who aren't angry for a while.
I decided to share this page because I re-drew the woman's profile in the last panel about 5 times. That was the hardest thing for me so far, but I like how it's come out.
