I finally got this painting off the ground. The composition is slightly different from the original sketch since the dimensions of the canvas are different... slightly vertical rather than slightly horizontal. I also didn't use the sketch for reference. I have drawn this same picture three times in my life (and tattooed it once) so I figured I could do it fine out of my head, and maybe switch things up a bit.
Now that it's begun, hopefully I can get it finished soon. In any case, I will post updates here!
