So much research into the environs just outside of Paris' southern edge circa 1900, and there's so much I just had to guess at unless I want to track down a historian who could answer my questions. I'm pretty certain I've gotten the topography down, but any information whether windmills were still in use in this era was effectively buried online by the French bringing back windpower in the present day. Also there's the canals... they are so varied today in France (structurally) that finding what particular ones looked like 116 years ago... I think one would have to actually go visit the locality to get this sort of historical accuracy.
So, a little guess-work.
le sigh.
