2021-12-08 16:45:16 +0000 UTCSo one of the three tasks given to Hongjun from his uncle is to go to the Exorcism place after he gives the heart of light to the Chen family. I believe this is because of that first scene where someone conveys a letter (the touching of the tree and placing the letter in the water) and the uncle reading it and realizing that the mortal world needs someone from the demon world to help with exorcism. And since Hongjun needs to be told about his actual father, they decide to send him. This way he can learn more about his father’s death while working at the exorcism place.
